The level sensor is also available with an additional temperature sensor.
The temperature sensor is designed with a Pt1000 shunt resistor conforming to EN 60751, Class B, in a 2-wire circuit. But Pt100 and Pt500 sensors, as well as NTC and semiconductor sensors, are also possible.
The hot-wire voltage signal and the temperature sensor resistance signal are forwarded separately to the vehicle electronics for evaluation.
The JUMO level and temperature sensor is designed for continuous operation at a temperature range between
–40 to +140 °C.
