Tried-and-tested pressure transmitters support the latest standard

JUMO dTRANS p20 Series with New HART® Rev 7

The HART interface for the proven JUMO dTRANS p20 pressure transmitter now supports the latest HART® Rev 7 standard. As a result, advanced digital diagnosis options for startup and maintenance are now included. The range of options for providing access through control systems and operating tools has also been further extended by a third dimension.

Pressure transmitters from the JUMO dTRANS p20 series are universal and suitable for measuring pressure, differential pressure, level, and flow. The devices combine ultimate precision with simple and convenient operation. They meet the latest directives on explosion protection and can be used in all zones up to zone 0. Pressure transmitters with the older HART® Rev 5 protocol are still available as an option.

The HART® protocol was first established back in 1989 and has since become the world's most widely-spread digital device interface for process automation. Using the frequency-shift keying (FSK) procedure (a 4 to 20 mA superimposed output signal), field devices are able to communicate digitally with their control units. JUMO is a member of the FieldComm Group, which is the body responsible for governing and developing the HART® protocol.
